ACOMP 2016 Proceedings edited by a member of the ESP-Lab

The ACOMP 2016 international conference is an annual, multi-track international forum for academics, engineers, practitioners and research students to exchange their ideas, techniques, methods, and state-of-the-art applications for advanced computing. It was held in the city of Can Tho in November 2016. The conference proceedings, published by the IEEE Computer Society, was primarily edited by Dr. Lam-Son Lê — head of the ESP-Lab.

Master’s thesis successfully defended: highest grade ever

2016. He obtained the highest grade ever for a thesis defense in the history of the MIS program, scoring 9.7 out of 10. He was the first ever student of this master’s program who managed to author a conference paper in proceedings published by Springer Verlag.

Dr. Long-Phuoc Tôn

(Tôn Long Phước in Vietnamese) Long-Phuoc Tôn was a doctoral student under the supervision of Dr. Lam-Son Lê and Dr. Hoang-Anh Pham. His doctoral work is theoretically focused on the definition of a domain-specific language for IoT applications.
