pring semester, Academic year 2017-2018: Our master's course entitled "Principles of Software Design & Software Architecture" was the most popular elective course of the master's program in computer science at HCMC University of Technology. We attracted a relatively large number of graduate students having various levels of prgramming and software expertise.

Dr. Lam-Son Lê spent a week at the springtime of 2017 in University of Trento (UNITN), Italia as a visiting professor under the European Erasmus+ Mobility project. He delivered speech on process re-design and services modeling to a master’s course on organizational information systems at Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, UNITN.

Our presentation at STEMCON 2017, entitled “Towards an Undergraduate Certification Program  on IoT: Getting an Introductory Course on IoT Ready at Bach Khoa University”, pp. 21, authored by Lam-Son & Hoang-Anh Pham & Thai-Minh, was highly regarded at the conference session, followed by discussions to open the door for getting industrial partners involved in such a certification program. 

Our presentation at VEEC 2016, entitled “Coupling In-class Exercises with Lab Assignments to Boost Students’ Teamwork in Teaching SE: a Case from HCMC University of Technology”, pp. 18-19, authored by Lam-Son & Thai-Minh & Dinh-Thuan, was highly regarded at the conference session and especially by the session moderator — Dr. David Benson.
