Dr. Lam-Son Lê obtained his Ph.D. from the EPFL, Switzerland in late 2008. He then spent 4+ years doing a post-doc at the University of Wollongong, Australia. He got an engineering diploma from HCMC University of Technology, Vietnam in 1998. He currently holds an academic position at Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering in the same university. He leads a research group on data-driven enterprise software & processes.
Lam-Son authors and co-authors approximately 70 scientific papers published in the proceedings of highly-ranked conferences and in reputable journals in the fields of enterprise computing, business processes management, service-oriented computing, conceptual modeling and software architecture.
Lam-Son assumes multiple chair roles in a highly-regarded conference in enterprise computing of late: the 25th IEEE EDOC in Goal Coast, the 24th IEEE EDOC in Eindhoven, the 23rd IEEE EDOC in Paris. He has served as the program chair of the ACOMP international conferences 2015-2023 of which the latest edition was held in Quy Nhon. He is a reviewer for a Q2 journal in services computing called SOCA. His notable conference TPC membership is of the following: EDOC (since 2018) and a series of the APCCM conference between 2013-2019. His industrial experience includes being software architect, technical lead, software developer and business analyst.
